His father, Arase Efeimwonkiyeke, a warder of Benin ancestry, and his mother, a bean cake seller, provided the backdrop for his early life.
Raised in Abakaliki, Ebonyi State, Sam faced challenges after losing his father during primary school. Despite the difficulties, his passion for acting emerged when a theatre group staged “The Doctor In Spite of Himself” at his school. Transitioning to Dunlop Tyres, he continued his journey, becoming a cast member of NTA Benin’s “Hotel de Jordan” and performing in Ola Rotimi’s “The Gods are Not to Blame.”
